This is a short post to promote people and educate them on a secondary project of mine within Peace Corps that I am incredibly excited about. TOBE has quickly become a passion project for me, and I am so excited to update people about the progression of this camp throughout my service.

Partnered with Youth For the Future (YFF), TOBE is a summer camp geared towards teenage boys in Armenia. This is a project that we are really proud of, and we are trying crowdfunding for the first time this year.
A little about TOBE:
TOBE is a summer camp that fosters leadership within Armenian young men and provides them with knowledge, training, experiential opportunities, and access to resources in order to develop successful and responsible lifestyles. Through free educational and social engagement activities, we shape boys at our camp into future leaders for change.
This camp/program is also community focused, helping these young men reach out into their communities to teach and promote the knew knowledge that they have acquired during their time at camp. Through seminars or cumulative projects, these boys put forth efforts to create sustainable change within their communities all over Armenia.
How you can help:
Although donating to our crowdfunding page would be immensely helpful for TOBE and I encourage donating in any way shape or form, we also just want to spread the word about our camp. By sharing our crowdfunding page, liking TOBE on Facebook, or spreading news about this camp to interested campers/counselors by word of mouth and your own social media platforms, you are helping TOBE immensely.
Get ready for updates about TOBE for the next couple of years! I am hoping amazing things are going to happen. Summer camps as a source for youth development are something that I am very passionate about. I can’t wait to use this passion in order to spark leadership and change within young men throughout Armenia!
